Commetrex Adds Interactive Intelligence to List of Fax-Technology Licensees

ITExpo Los Angeles, CA September 16, 2008 – Commetrex Corporation has added another high-profile vendor to its list of fax-technology licensees. Interactive Intelligence has embedded Commetrex’ Multi-Modal Terminating Fax and PowerRelay for T.38 into its Customer Interaction Center® (CIC) software suite.

CIC is an all-in-one communications software suite offering single-platform architecture with inherent multi-channel processing to deliver comprehensive applications minus the cost and complexity introduced by multi-point products.

Peter Nees, Interactive Intelligence’s product manager explained the selection: “While we’ve provided fax support to customers for more than a decade, our agreement with Commetrex now enables us to provide higher quality support with faster response time. It also enables our customers to deploy fax on their networks more flexibly for greater reliability and reduced costs.”

Tom Ray, Commetrex EVP sales and marketing, pointed out that by licensing both the terminating and relay legs, Interactive Intelligence has also taken advantage of Commetrex so-called fax triangle, which supports both termination and relay on the same system.
