The MSP Consortium's latest addendum to its M.100 recommendation adds support
for TMS320DSP Algorithm Standard-compliant algorithms. Texas Instrument's (TI) eXpressDSP
Algorithm Interface Standard specifies an algorithm wrapper to improve
portability of media-processing subsystems. The addition of TMS320DSP Algorithm Standard support
means the system designer using an M.100-compliant streams environment can now
take advantage of the increasing number of TMS320DSP Algorithm Standard-compliant algorithms on the
market. Commetrex, a member of the MSP Consortium, has added support for the
M.100 addendum to its M.100-compliant OpenMedia product. For further
information on the MSP Consortium, visit www.msp.org.

The chart below is a listing of Commetrex' media-processing technologies compliant with TI's TMS320DSP Algorithm Standard and the MSP Consortium's M.100 recommendation. The chart also indicates which technologies are available in Portable C. All are categorized with red or blue checks to indicate which are currently available and those under development. Please revisit this page for updates as each technology becomes available.
