Thanks to TI's Multichannel Vocoder Technology Demonstration Kit (TDK) and our G.711 and G.726 Vocoders by Commetrex Corporation you are now ready to move into the fast track for multichannel vocoder design. The kit contains a rich collection of technical documentation and application software that is ready to run on TI's C6201 EVM or C6000 DSK.
The TDK is an open software framework that accepts eXpressDSP™-compliant algorithms. Tested by TI, eXpressDSP-compliant algorithms offer you an additional level of comfort knowing that the products you are integrating are tested to comply with TI software standards. eXpressDSP-compliant algorithms are designed to be integrated easily, relieving development burdens and slashing integration time ease the learning curve to start and finish development of robust applications in record time.
Media Processing Technologies
Commetrex' Any Media...Anytime™ technology means the end of fixed-function system resources. Unlike other vendors that bundle media processing, such as voice or fax, with their hardware, Commetrex licenses media resources on a maximum-concurrent-port basis. The same technologies are also available as licensed technology for your proprietary media-processing application. Either way, you get Commetrex' unsurpassed expertise in developing effective resource-efficient media technologies.
Commetrex' Media Processing Technologies include its G.711 and G.726 vocoders. Both are available for license as C-source compliant with either eXpressDSP™ or MSP Consortium's M.100 standards for the TMS320C6000. The G.726 algorithm has been verified to have bit-exact compatibility with the ITU test vectors. The Vocoders are available with a G.168-conformant echo canceller, voice activity detection, tone detection/reinsertion, and comfort noise generation.
