Commetrex Names Dr. Mohan Kinra to Head Western Region
Company Opens San Jose Office

San Jose, CA, May 5, 2004 – Commetrex Corporation announced today that Dr. Mohan Kinra, a telecom-industry veteran, has been named director, western region sales. He will direct the Company's marketing operations for the region from its newly opened office in San Jose, CA.

Someone with Dr. Kinra's exceptionally strong background in both marketing and telecommunications technology is exactly what is required."

Kinra, who holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Rice University, comes to Commetrex from Centillium Communications, where he served as director, VoP marketing. His contributions to the industry include the early development of ATM technology and standards, and he developed one of the industry’s first ATM WAN switches. He served in senior management positions at GTE, General Data Corporation, ECI, and Cylink.
