Test Results - Lucent Max TNT

The Lucent Max TNT and Commetrex T.38 Gateways do not interoperate. Commetrex and several othter vendors, including Cisco, have interpreted the T.38 specification differently from Lucent.

The Lucent Max TNT T.38 can be made to interoperate with the Commetrex T.38 by auto-detecting the packet types and using the Lucent-specific ASN.1 decode/encode (Lucent appears to have a different interpretation of the ASN.1 spec). There are a couple of other minor tweaks for Commertrex<->Max TNT compatibility.

For Commetrex, the Max TNT fix would allow us to use one set of source code for Lucent and for Cisco.
