Manager, Signal Processing Technologies: Commetrex Corporation (Roswell, Georgia) has a rare opportunity for an electrical engineer with a strong background in developing signal-processing technologies for telecom applications. We are looking for an experienced team leader, preferrerably with modem design experience, to head our signal processing technology group.

The Manager, Signal Processing Technologies, will be responsible for managing and extending the Company’s extensive portfolio of existing technologies (see http://www.commetrex.com/products/algorithms.html/) and extending the product line to support wireless and IP video technologies.

Director, System Software: The System Software Department within Commetrex' product-development organization is responsible for system-level software development. The other two groups are Signal Processing Technologies and Embedded Systems. Current projects in System Software include BladeWare, Open Telecommunications Framework’ Kernel (OTF), and OpenMedia (please see http://www.commetrex.com/). Additionally, all members of the technical staff work with the Company's OEM customers in solving problems related to the customer's development efforts. Our current top priority is the development of BladeWare, a host-media-processing telephony-middleware product that is being well received by the industry. Some light travel may be required.

This position requires strong leadership. This means the successful candidate will have the technical and project-management understanding and skills to determine what must be done for a project to be successful, devise a plan for doing so, and showing the project's team members how to do it.

1. Build, manage, and lead a group of real-time telecom software developers.
2. Design and implement multi-line telecom software products to be sold to telecom-equipment OEMs and businesses worldwide.
3. Support OEM customers.
