Commetrex was founded by Cliff Schornak and Mike Coffee in the late '80s. Schornak was VP, Product Development and Coffee, VP, Marketing, respectively, for Innovative Technology, Inc. of Roswell, GA at that time. Schornak and Coffee co-founded Commetrex to take advantage of the burgeoning computer-telephony market. The Company, largely self-funded, is nearing completion of its first-generation product line. As the telecom market starts to rebound from its four-year recession, Commetrex is expecting significant near-term growth.

Commetrex develops and markets enabling technologies for the gateway and media-server telecom OEM, as well as ready-to-deploy fax applications, BladeWare Fax Media Server (FMS), BladeWare Fax2Email, and BladeWare Email2Fax. Well known for its market-leading fax and other licensed media-processing technologies, Commetrex has previously announced its 75th T.38 FoIP customer. Commetrex' list of licensees is a who's who of the telecom industry, including LSI/Agere, Iperia, Genband, Altigen, Lucent, Sonus, OpenWave, Nortel, Broadsoft, Siemens, Aspect, Portugal Telecom, ShoreTel, Avaya, Empirix, LogicaCMG, Movius, and many others. Commetrex is currently enhancing the BladeWare product family by introducing comprehensive voice capabilities through its BladeWareVXi initiative.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary are consistent with industry norms.  Additionally, Commetrex' employees are granted incentive stock options to insure that Commetrex' success will mean substantial personal reward. Major medical insurance is provided with a 15% co-payment provided by the employee. Disability insurance is provided with a 25% employee co-payment.
