Commetrex is the world leader in fax technologies including fax over the Internet

that make up Open Telecommunications Framework®, a comprehensive communications product

Compensation
Salary will be consistent with industry norms. Additionally, Commetrex' employees
are granted incentive stock options to insure that Commetrex' success will mean
substantial personal reward. Major medical insurance is provided with a 15% co-payment provided by the employee. Disability

Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience
- 4+ years of technical leadership/software management
- BS/MS degree in CE, EE, or related degree
- Familiar with a variety of software languages and operating systems
- Manage the work flow process and integration of tools
- Responsible for software process and configuration control
- Suppport product management efforts
- Windows NT development experience
- Real-time operating system development experience (QNX, VxWorks, pSOS)
- Experience developing client/server systems in C, TCP/IP, sockets, etc.

Commetrex is looking for a results-oriented and self-motivated senior-level
software development engineer.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MSCS or MSEE Degree preferred
- 4+ years of C / C++ language programming
- Windows NT development experience
- Real-time operating system development experience (QNX, VxWorks, pSOS)
- Experience developing client/server systems in C, TCP/IP, sockets, etc.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Design Methodologies
- Experience in the computer telephony market
- Design and implement multi-line communications software products
- Support OEM customers in solving problems related to the customer's development efforts
- Document designs before code development using appropriate graphical methods
- May work with the OpenMedia ™ embedded software environment and the Open Telecommunications Framework, client-server computer telephony software environment
- You must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in the English language
Optional Skills

Commetrex is seeking a highly skilled hardware designer to aid in the
development and design of embedded system products.
Qualifications and Requirements
- BS/MSEE Degree preferred or related experience combined with a technical degree
- 3+ years experience with microprocessor-based digital circuit design
- You must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in the English language
- Familiar with DSP hardware architectures
- Familiar with telephony architectures and interfaces
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Light travel may be required
Optional Skills
- Experience with C programming language
- DSP programming experience (TMS320DSP)
- VHDL understanding

Salary Range $55 - $85 k
Commetrex has several openings for DSP engineers experienced in developing
media-processing products such as high-speed data modems, low-bit-rate vocoders, and
telephony algorithms. These designs will be part of our advanced communications platform
that will be used by communications system developers as the basis of computer telephony
and carrier-equipment systems.
Specific Requirements
- MSEE or PhD degree specializing in signal processing
- 3+ years DSP-based algorithm implementation experience
- Proficient in C / C++, MATLAB, and DSP code optimization
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident
